Downloaded this template today and I love it already. But I'm having trouble with the following things:

1) 'About' and 'Contact' links lead nowhere. How do I create these 2 links? I'd like 'About' to lead to a separate page and 'Contact' to link to my email id directly.

2) How do I change any fonts on the main text? The text font is huge and I'd like to change it and make it smaller. How do I do that?

3) How do I remove the search box?

4) My blogger profile has completely disappeared from the sidebar. How do I get it back?

5) The 'Add a Gadget' button is missing from the 'Page Elements' page. How do I add gadgets?

Overall, my biggest problem is this. After I uploaded the template, I am not able to go into 'Page Elements' in 'Layouts' and drag or drop anything. That page simply doesn't work for me. Therefore, I'm having trouble with small things like gadgets and fonts.

I'd really appreciate your assistance. I love this layout and I don't want to have to go back to my boring old one! Thanks.

I would like to change the width of the body text margins. I want the lines to be shorter. They look too long to me and make it harder to read. How do I do that?

I love love love this template. My blog finally found it's face and she loves it!

Klodian said...

@In My Head Studios
go to edit HTML --> search [CTRL+F]
width:580px;

change to 500px and test.

That sort of worked. The text lines broke shorter but it's all aligned to the left now with a big space between the body and sidebar. Can that be fixed or centered? Sorry if I'm being a pain. :)

Hi, Klodian! I liked a lot the photo used in Scrapbook template's header. Is it possible I get it for my blog? Thanks, Walter. http://escrivaocaminha.blogspot.com

@Escrivão Caminha
I don't know, I'm not author of the design, and I dont know who designed the header. I think you can use and if someone find out who designed it, put author credit in your blog footer.

Hi,

Loved this template, and I'm already using it. My only question is if there's a way I can remove the about and contact links.

Thanks!

Klodian said...

go to edit HTML --> search [CTRL+F]

Hi! I realy like your templates, and thank you so much for that! Great work!

This one is my favorit, and I get it for my own blog, but there are several problems.
1st: The links "About" and "Contact" doesn't work.
2nd: The option "Search" always results with nothing.
3rd (and most important!): in Mozilla Firefox the fields for writing comments does not appear.. (it means that readers who use Firefox can't post any comments).

Is it possible to solve these problems?

Thanks!

Klodian said...

@Vesna
3rd answer: just tested, works ok
2nd answer: just tested works ok [maybe sometime for Blogger reason this maybe not work, but code is OK]
1st answer: Im going to write tutorial, how to edit top menu links... later.

@Klodian

Thank you for your quick answer!
I saw in my statistic page that you actually succeeded in the items 2nd and 3rd. But if we try to make it (from several computers), it still doesn't work.
I don't know what causes the problem, maybe I should try to find a help somewhere else.

Regards!

I am using this for my craft blog and I love the design. My only question is that I would like my pictures to fill the same amount of width that my text does. Is this possible?

I solved the problem with menu!
I had a new question, please: I added the column border posts, but I'd like to see on each post separately, not not all central column. Can I do that? It's complicated?
Many thanks!

Klodian said...

@carmen
go to edit HTML
find this
.post {
margin:0.5em 0 1.5em;
padding-bottom:1.5em;
}

replace with
.post {
border-bottom:1px solid #8D38C9;
margin:0.5em 0 1.5em;
padding-bottom:1.5em;
}
